भारत तिब्बत की सीमा पर अंतिम विकास खंड, जोशीमठ के दूरस्थ गांव अरोसी से एक ऐसी तस्वीर सामने आई है जो आजादी के 75 वर्ष बाद भी पहाड़ी अंचलों में बसे गांव और उन गांवों में रहने वाले ग्रामीणों की पीड़ा को बयां कर रही हैं। वीडियो में आप देख रहे हैं कि गांव की महिलाएं जान जोखिम में डालकर आवाजाही कर रही है, तो क्या यह पहाड़ में जीवन का संघर्ष है, या जीवन जीने के लिए संघर्ष है।

बताते चलें यह वीडियो जोशीमठ की उर्गम घाटी के अरोसी गांव का है जहां पर भारी बारिश और भूस्खलन के कारण पैदल संपर्क मार्ग अधिकांश टूट गए हैं। साथ ही निर्माणाधीन मोटर मार्ग भी जगह-जगह मलबे की भेंट चढ़ गया है जिस कारण से अब ग्रामीणों को अपनी जान जोखिम में डालकर आवाजाही करनी पड़ रही है। गांव के लक्ष्मण नेगी कहते हैं कि भेंटा भरकी गांव तक निर्माणाधीन सड़कका कार्य पिछले 6 महीने से ठप पड़ा हुआ है और इसका ठेकेदार लापता है और आजकल हो रही मूसलाधार बारिश के कारण यह निर्माणाधीन सड़क जगह-जगह टूट गई है।

साथ ही सड़क के मलबे से पैदल मार्ग भी क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए हैं। कहते हैं कि अरोशी और उसके आसपास के गांव का हर परिवार प्रतिवर्ष 50 हज़ार से अधिक की मौसमी सब्जी बेचता है, आजकल बरसात के समय में ग्रामीणों के खेत मौसमी सब्जियों से लकदक हैं जिन्हें ग्रामीण प्रतिदिन मुख्य बाजारों तक पहुंचाते हैं लेकिन रास्ते टूटे हुए होने के कारण ग्रामीणों को जान जोखिम में डालकर आवाजाही करनी पड़ रही है। कहते हैं कि ग्रामीणों ने मन बना लिया है कि यदि जल्द उनके गांव के पैदल रास्ते और निर्माणाधीन सड़क का काम शुरू नहीं किया गया तो आंदोलन किया जाएगा।
