मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बुधवार को देहरादून स्थित दून विश्वविद्यालय में आयोजित नवप्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों के दीक्षारम्भ समारोह कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने दून विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में ओपन एयर थियेटर एवं स्कूल ऑफ मैनेजमेंट भवन का लोकार्पण भी किया। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इस अवसर पर “Changing Paradigms in Business and Technology” एवं “Innovative Management Practices” नामक पुस्तकों का विमोचन किया।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने छात्रों से संवाद करते हुए कहा कि उत्तराखंड को उत्कृष्ट राज्य बनाने में छात्र छात्राओं की अहम भूमिका होगी। राज्य का भविष्य यहां के युवाओं के भविष्य पर निर्भर करता है। पढ़ाई के साथ युवा हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़े, इसके लिए राज्य सरकार नौजवानों के साथ खड़ी है। मुख्यमंत्री ने दीक्षारंभ (सत्रारम्भ) समारोह में आए छात्र छात्राओं को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि उच्च शिक्षा में प्रवेश के साथ ही जीवन में एक नए अध्याय की शुरूवात हुई है। जीवन में शिक्षा का महत्व प्राचीन काल से ही रहा है।
उच्च शिक्षा में प्रवेश जीवन में ज्ञान के महत्व को इंगित करने का एक अभिनव क्षण है। यह पल आपकी स्मृतियों में जीवनभर ताजा बने रहेगा। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड सदियों से ही महान ऋषियों की कर्मस्थली रही है। जिन्होंने भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा को भारत ही नहीं बल्कि सम्पूर्ण विश्व में प्रचारित और प्रसारित किया। आज भी हमारे कई शैक्षणिक संस्थान न सिर्फ देश में अपितु वैश्विक स्तर पर अपनी शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों के लिए जाने जाते हैं। उत्तराखंड की समृद्ध ज्ञान परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दून विश्वविद्यालय शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में निरंतर प्रगति कर रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि युवावस्था जीवन की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति है, इसके बल पर आप लोग चुनौतियों को अवसर में परिवर्तित कर सकते हैं तथा अपनी सृजनशक्ति के द्वारा विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में नित नये-नये कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर सकते हैं। वर्तमान में केन्द्र एवं राज्य सरकार द्वारा युवाओं को राष्ट्र निर्माण में सहयोग हेतु प्रेरित एवं प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में कई कार्यक्रम संचालित किये जा रहे हैं। उत्तराखण्ड को देश का अग्रणी राज्य बनाने के लिए लगातार प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। जनता से संवाद स्थापित कर उत्तराखंड को श्रेष्ठ राज्य बनाने के अपने ’’विकल्प रहित संकल्प’’ को पूर्ण करने हेतु निरंतर कार्य किये जा रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 को लागू करने वाला उत्तराखंड देश का पहला राज्य है। दून विश्वविद्यालय में राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के तहत उत्तराखण्ड की लोक भाषाओं, बोलियों एवं साहित्य के संरक्षण, संवर्धन एवं शोध के क्षेत्र में कार्य करने हेतु डॉ० नित्यानन्द हिमालयी शोध एवं अध्ययन केन्द्र भी स्थापित किया गया है। यह शोध केन्द्र प्रदेश की भाषाओं व साहित्य के संरक्षण एवं संवर्धन में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है। इसके साथ ही विदेशी भाषाओं में भी नए कोर्स शुरु किए गए है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व और मार्गदर्शन में शिक्षा, उच्च शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में गुणात्मक सुधार के लिये अनेक कार्य किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा युवाओं को समाज एवं राष्ट्र निर्माण की दिशा में कार्य करने के लिये शिक्षा के साथ ही उनके कौशल विकास के लिये विशेष ध्यान दिया जा रहा है।
उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड राज्य के विभिन्न महाविद्यालयों में प्रवेश उत्सव के कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। समर्थ पोर्टल के माध्यम से विभिन्न महाविद्यालयों में एडमिशन हेतु 71 हजार से अधिक छात्र-छात्राओं ने आवेदन किया है। उन्होंने कहा उत्तराखंड राज्य में डिग्री कॉलेजों हेतु ई- ग्रंथालय की व्यवस्था की गई है। महाविद्यालय में अन्य कार्यक्रमों से छात्र-छात्राओं की पढ़ाई प्रभावित ना हो इसके लिए शैक्षिक कैलेंडर भी जारी किया गया है। उत्तराखंड राज्य के सभी विश्वविद्यालय के दीक्षांत समारोह नवंबर माह में किए जाने का फैसला राज्य सरकार द्वारा लिया गया है। राज्य में मेधावी छात्रों के लिए मुख्यमंत्री छात्रवृति योजना दी जा रही है। उत्तराखंड राज्य के विश्वविद्यालय देश के सर्वाेच्च विद्यालयों में शामिल हों, इसके लिए सरकार निरंतर कार्यरत है।
