केदारनाथ मंदिर के गर्भगृह की दीवारें अब स्वर्णमंडित होंगी। खंभों, जलेरी और छत्रों पर भी सोने की परत चढ़ाई जाएगी। शासन से अनुमति के बाद बदरीनाथ केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति ने कार्य शुरू करवा दिया है। महाराष्ट्र के एक दानीदाता ने दो माह पूर्व बीकेटीसी से इस कार्य के लिए आग्रह किया था। इसके लिए समिति के अध्यक्ष अजेंद्र अजय से बीते अगस्त में धर्मस्व एवं संस्कृति सचिव हरीश चंद्र सेमवाल को पत्र लिखकर शासन से अनुमति मांगी थी। दो दिन पूर्व शासन ने बीकेटीसी को इस कार्य के लिए अनुमति प्रदान कर दी है।

विश्व विख्यात केदारनाथ मंदिर के गर्भ गृह में चारों दीवारों पर सोने की परत लगाये जाने का कार्य हो रहा है। इससे पहले यहां चांदी की परत लगाई जा रही थी। महाराष्ट्र राज्य के एक दानीदाता की ओर से मंदिर के भीतर लगने वाले सोने को दिया जा रहा है, लेकिन केदारनाथ धाम के तीर्थ पुरोहित मंदिर के भीतर सोने की परत लगाये जाने का विरोध कर रहे हैं। तीर्थ पुरोहितों का आरोप है कि मंदिर की पौराणिक परंपराओं के साथ खिलवाड़ किया जा रहा है। मंदिर के भीतर किसी भी हाल में सोना नहीं लगाने दिया जायेगा। यदि जबरन सोना लगाया जाता है तो इसका घोर विरोध किया जायेगा और जरूरत पड़ने पर भूखहड़ताल भी की जायेगी।

दरअसल, केदारनाथ मंदिर के गर्भ गृह की चारों दिवारों और चारों स्तंभों पर सोने की परत लगाई जा रही है। वर्तमान में मंदिर के गर्भगृह में चांदी की परत विराजमान है। जो चांदी की परत यहां लगाई गई है, उसका वजन लगभग 230 किलो तक है। ऐसे में यहां लगाये जाने वाली सोने का वजन भी 230 किलो तक होगा। गर्भगृह में स्थित बाबा केदार का छत्र एवं जलहरी भी चांदी के हैं। यहां लगाई गई चांदी को भी 2017 में एक भक्त ने दान किया था। कुछ समय पूर्व एक महाराष्ट्र के दानीदाता यात्री केदारनाथ पहुंचे थे और उन्होंने चांदी के स्थान पर सोने की परत लगाने की इच्छा जाहिर की थी। जिस पर बद्री-केदार मंदिर समिति ने भी हामी भर दी।

बद्री-केदार मंदिर समिति के अध्यक्ष अजेन्द्र अजय ने इसके लिये बकायदा शासन से अनुमति मांगी। मंदिर के भीतर चांदी की परत उतारने के बाद ट्रायल के रूप में तांबे की परत लगाई जा रही हैं। तांबे की परतों को लगाकर डिजायन, फिटिंग आदि का कार्य किया जायेगा। जैसे ही यह तांबे की परते फिट बैठेंगी, उसके बाद सोने की परते लगाई जाएंगी। जैसे ही मंदिर के भीतर सोने की परते लगाये जाने की भनक केदारनाथ धाम के तीर्थ पुरोहितों को लगी तो उन्होंने इसका विरोध करना शुरू कर दिया। इस सोने की परत लगाने के लिये मंदिर के भीतर ड्रिल मशीन से भी छेद किये जा रहे हैं। मंदिर की दीवारों पर छेद होने से तीर्थ पुरोहितों में उबाल आ गया है।

तीर्थ पुरोहितों का कहना है कि केदारनाथ मोक्ष धाम है। राजा परीक्षित ने जब कलियुग को बंदी बनाया था तो कलियुग ने अपने लिये सोने और चांदी स्थान को मांगा था। केदारनाथ मोक्ष धाम है और इस मोक्ष धाम के गर्भगृह में यदि कलियुग को बैठाया जायेगा तो कैसे यहां आने वाले यात्रियों को मोक्ष धाम की प्राप्ति होगी। इस मोक्ष धाम के दरवाजे पर भी चांदी लगाया गया है, जो कि सरासर गलत है। ये हमारे सनातन धर्म के खिलाफ है। सभी हिंदुओं को एकजुट होकर मंदिर के अंदर लगाये जाने वाले सोने का विरोध करना होगा।

वहीं, दूसरी तरफ बद्री केदार मंदिर समिति के अध्यक्ष अजेंद्र अजय ने कहा कि इस समय कहीं पर भी नियमों के विपरीत काम नहीं हो रहा है बल्कि हर चीज विधि विधान के साथ यहां पर की जा रही है ऐसे में अगर चांदी की जगह पर सोने की परत लगाई जा रही है तो उसका कोई विरोध नहीं होना चाहिए। मंदिर समिति के अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि दुनिया में बहुत से ऐसे धार्मिक स्थान है जो सोने से बने हुए हैं उसमें चाहे दक्षिण भारत का सोने का मंदिर हो अमृतसर में बना गोल्डन टेंपल साहिब गुरुद्वारा हो, अगर उन जगहों पर सोने के कार्य किये जा सकते हैं तो फिर केदारनाथ धाम में गर्भ ग्रह के भीतर सोने की परत क्यों नहीं लगाई जा सकती।

केदारनाथ धाम में तीर्थ पुरोहितों का विरोध अब सरकार के लिए चिंता का विषय भी बनता जा रहा है। क्योंकि, केदारनाथ धाम के आस्था देश और दुनिया में बहुत ज्यादा है ऐसे में शिव भक्तों के लिए तीर्थ पुरोहितों का ये विरोध परेशानी तो बनेगा ही सरकार के लिए भी बड़ा चिंता का विषय बन सकता है। इसलिए जरूरी है कि सरकार इस समस्या का समाधान निकालें और तीर्थ पुरोहितों के आक्रोश को शांत करें।
