वित्त मंत्रालय भारत सरकार ने पूंजीगत निवेश 2023-24 के अन्तर्गत उत्तराखण्ड को विशेष सहायता (ऋण) के लिए 951 करोड़ रूपये की स्वीकृति प्रदान की गई है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने राज्य को प्रदान की गई इस विशेष सहायता के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी एवं केन्द्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण का आभार व्यक्त किया।

वित्त मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा जिन महत्वपूर्ण योजनाओं के लिए 2023-24 के लिए राज्य को विशेष सहायता स्वीकृत की गई है, उनमें जल जीवन मिशन के तहत ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में पेयजल की सुविधा के लिए 110 करोड़ रूपये, नैनीताल में मॉडल कॉलेज अपग्रेडेशन के लिए 61 करोड़ रूपये, 500 बेड के दून मेडिकल कॉलेज के लिए 60 करोड़ एवं दून मेडिकल कॉलेज कैम्पस के लिए 33.98 करोड़ रूपये की विशेष सहायता प्रदान की गई है।

पीएमजीएसवाई स्टेट शेयर के लिए 56 करोड़ रूपये, रूड़की देवबंद रेल लाईन के लिए 55 करोड़ रूपये, सहसपुर में स्किल हब के लिए 25.91 करोड़ रूपये, फार्म मशीनरी बैंक के लिए 25 करोड़ रूपये, टनकपुर आईएसबीटी के लिए 25 करोड़ रूपये, देहरादून में बस डिपो/वर्कशाप के लिए 25 करोड़ रूपये एवं अल्मोड़ा सीवरेज स्कीम के लिए 20.16 करोड़ की विशेष सहायता प्रदान की गई है। इसके अतिरिक्त अन्य योजनाओं में भी विशेष सहायता के तहत भारत सरकार द्वारा धनराशि स्वीकृत की गई है।
